Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 2

Just as the body needs certain vitamins and nutrients in order to be healthy and prosper, so it is with our soul. Our body nor our soul will not prosper by accident. Those who study our bodies have learned what is necessary for our bodies to be well and healthy. But, it seems, we have not learned what is necessary for our soul to prosper.

As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. Neither natural nor spiritual junk food will bring health and wellness to our soul or bodies. From our study at MTC, we have learned that traditional teaching in theology will not bring prosperity to a students’ soul. The “inward transformation” that brings prosperity to the soul of man, is more than a learning of mere facts and theories. “Information” in itself can not meet this need.

…hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge. Proverbs 22:17

We must have “information,” however, unless we couple it with “application,” the Word will have little or no impact on our lives.

Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. Proverbs 23:12

The meaning of the word knowledge in the Hebrew language is, perception, skill, discernment, understanding, wisdom.

It is only by experiencing a divine “impartation of spiritual perception and discernment of the Word, that we are able to apply to our hearts (application), that brings the understanding and skill that produces an “inward transformation” of the soul that resides within us.

The truth is, God is far more interested in working “in” us (soul prosperity)… than He is “through” us. The courses of MTC have been developed to penetrate the external thereby bringing spiritual change to the internal soul of man.
